Music Camp

July 14-18 (Ages 8-18)

   

    Here at the Flying Eagle Ranch we know that music is one of God's greatest gifts to man. We wish to help equip young people with the ability they need to honor and glorify God with their music.

Each camper will have two private piano lessons along with hours of classroom instruction in the areas of: Music Theory, Music Technique, Music Philosophy, and Music Performance. All campers will have an opportunity to play in the daily services, and to perform in the concert at the close of the week.

Campers will conclude the week by hosting a concert for their family and friends at 4:30 pm on Friday. Parents are urged to attend this special event. The concert will be concluded by a short awards ceremony.

Campers will check in between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. Monday and will depart after the concert at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Campers will stay in our air conditioned bunk houses complete with restroom and shower facilities. All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be provided.

Note: Campers should bring one memorized piece that is  ready for performance, and one piece they desire to work on. Because of the formality of the concert, female campers should bring a white blouse and a knee-length black skirt. Male campers should bring a white dress shirt, a black necktie, and black slacks.
